Further treatment blanches them to a creamy white that we used to create the bold contrasting stripe pattern in this natural rug. The hollow-cored water-hyacinth twine has a natural give under foot that makes for pleasant walking in bare feet. This natural rug is flat woven and made of jute for a beautiful, rustic look that will compliment any space.
